JSC Voltyre-Prom Sales managers are being trained

Second session of training for regional representatives and specialists of Sales Department has ended at VP.

Modern approach to sales involves technical support, i.e. the representative of the manufacturer doesn't just sell the product but also gives advice how to prolong its life term through which a positive effect on tire productivity could be reached. This approach to sales is now used in all foreign companies. Titan colleagues agreed to share their experience with Volzhsky specialists.

The opinion about the company is based primarily on its products but often the operating rules are forgotten, - says Ivan Chernyshov, Deputy Commercial Director of JSC Voltyre-Prom. Accordingly, in case of misapplication the tire can fail easily, although in 80 % of cases it isn’t manufacturer’s fault. It is not enough to produce a product of high quality, it is important to use it correctly. This training aims at preparation of our specialists for professional selling of branded tires that are not sold as a wholesale but namely to the end customer.

In this direction number of diverse training activities are planned. Currently there were two trainings. The first one was held in December and was more an introduction of Titan history, the basic directions of business and its competent organization. The second training was held in February and differed from previous one not only by participants (it was required for regional managers, designers, technologists, claims specialists to be present), but also by the content. At the beginning each regional representative presented a detailed report on the analysis of the region and of competitive environment, forecasting needs and perspectives; then all participants were involved in solving cases and protection of their works. The training ended with practical sessions on the production premises of JSC Voltyre-Prom. On the example of practical training with tractor Titan colleagues have shown their skills and competence not only in issues of correct application of tires on the various machines and in different conditions but also in defining the problems with alignment of the tractor axles.

The third session of training will be held on farms where the direct work with agricultural machines is being planned.
