About Voltyre-Prom
Joint Stock Company Voltyre-Prom (Volzhsky Tire plant) came into operation on June 30, 1964.
Throughout its history the plant had been developing the product range, upgrading production facilities, introducing new technologies.
Since its foundation and till the present days the plant has been one of the largest enterprises in industry.
The company’s core assortment includes tires for agricultural and industrial machinery.
In October 2013 Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI) in partnership with One Equity Partners (OEP) and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) acquired Voltyre-Prom from the principle owner Cordiant Holding. Titan International acts as the managing partner for the consortium combining knowledge of local business conduct, financial expertise and successful production experience.
Due to Titan’s commitment to become a world leading manufacturer of wheels, tires and undercarriage components, this transaction provides a unique opportunity for both Titan and Voltyre-Prom. This investment will allow Voltyre-Prom to improve current production practices and strategic business development.
Voltyre-Prom confirms compliance with the REACH (REACH Accredited and Certified Facility) requirements for products supplied to the EU countries.
