"High Start" for students

This year, for the second time, a project "High start" was organized by the Department of staff recruitment and training of Voltyre-Prom to create external staff reserve. In late February, the awarding of the winners of the project was carried out.

The project "High start" was started in autumn 2012 at JSC Voltyre-Prom. The goal is to make the external staff reserve from the number of promising, motivated students; it is carried out on the basis of the Volzhsky Polytechnic Institute, which has a lot of qualifications related to our plant.

To participate in this project, the senior students had to go through several steps: to fill out a form on the website of Voltyre-Prom, to show their knowledge and skills in dealing with representatives of the company – i.e. the candidates had to pass the evaluative interview, to perform several tasks, to take part in a business game, to pass the proficiency testing.

In total this year, there were 35 application forms for participation in the program "High Start". By the results of the questionnaire, there were selected 23 of them. These students were interviewed by the experts of the Company to identify the potential employees in the near future.

In the end, there were 8 winners. All of them can start working on the core professions which are not available for external applicants.

"High Start" is a young but promising project. This is evidenced by the fact that the winners of last year are already working in our company: Elena Volodina, engineer in the Compounding department, Daria Artamonova, a specialist in the Users’ support service, Nikita Kriviv, engineer on equipment in the Materials department.
